At SqueezeImage.app, we are committed to providing a high-quality, privacy-first image processing experience. Because our technology operates locally in your browser, its performance depends on your device’s hardware and browser configuration.
1. “Try Before You Buy” Policy
We do not offer a trial period for our Premium plans. Instead, we provide a Free Version of SqueezeImage.app.
- All users are strongly encouraged to use the Free Version to verify that our engine is compatible with their browser and device before purchasing a subscription.
- If the Free Version works correctly on your machine, the Pro features (which use the same core engine) will also function.
2. 14-Day Technical Guarantee
We offer a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase only if the Premium features fail to function correctly on your device and our support team is unable to resolve the issue.
Refunds will NOT be granted for the following reasons:
- “I changed my mind.”
- “I don’t need the tool anymore.”
- Issues that are present in the Free Version (as these should have been identified prior to purchase).
- Browser crashes or slow performance caused by processing extremely large files that exceed your device’s available RAM.
3. Conditions for a Refund
To be eligible for a refund, you must:
- Contact our support team to report the specific technical failure of a Premium feature.
- Provide a description of the error (and screenshots/logs if requested) to help us diagnose the problem.
- Allow us a reasonable amount of time to attempt to fix the issue.
4. How to Request a Refund
If we cannot fix the technical issue, you can request a refund by:
- Contacting us directly at support@squeezeimage.app.
- Submitting a request through the Freemius User Dashboard (our licensing and payment partner).
Please include your Freemius Order ID to expedite the process.
5. Processing Refunds
- Once approved, refunds are processed by Freemius, Inc.
- Funds will be credited back to your original payment method.
- Upon completion of the refund, your Pro license will be immediately deactivated and all saved settings on our server will be deleted.
6. Recurring Billing
Refunds apply only to the initial purchase. Monthly or annual renewals are not eligible for refunds. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Freemius account to avoid future charges.
