At SqueezeImage.app, we prioritize your privacy by separating your content from your preferences. Our architecture ensures that while your images stay private on your device, your experience remains seamless across sessions.
1. Local-Only Image Processing (The “Zero-Upload” Promise)
- No Image Uploads: Your images are never uploaded to our servers. All compression, cropping, and conversion happen locally in your web browser using client-side technology.
- No Image Storage: We do not, and cannot, see or store your photos. The pixels stay on your machine.
- Instant Clearance: Once you close the application tab, the temporary memory used for processing is cleared.
2. Information Handled by Freemius (Our Partner)
To provide licensing, automated updates, and secure payment processing, we use the Freemius platform. When you register, try a demo, or purchase a subscription, Freemius collects and processes:
- Account Information: Name, email address, and profile picture.
- Licensing Data: Information about your license status, software version, and (if applicable) the site URL where the service is active.
- Payment Data: Payments are processed securely by Freemius, Inc. We do not store or have access to your full credit card details or payment credentials.

3. Information Stored on Our Secure Servers
To provide a personalized experience, Squeeze stores the following minimal data on our own infrastructure:
- User Preferences: To ensure you don’t have to re-configure the tool every time you log in, we save your preferred compression levels, output formats, and other tool settings.
- Usage Statistics: We store the total number of images processed per account. This data is used solely to manage subscription limits, prevent abuse, and evaluate eligibility for refunds. We do not store any metadata, filenames, or content of the images themselves.

- Freemius, Inc.: Our partner for licensing, checkout, and account management.
- WordPress: The platform powering our website interface.
- Server Infrastructure: Secure cloud hosting for your preferences and account metadata.
