Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 25, 2026

At SqueezeImage.app, we prioritize your privacy. Our architecture ensures that your images stay private on your device while you use the tool. Squeeze is currently offered as a free, open-access service—no account registration, login, or paid subscription is required.

1. Local-Only Image Processing (The “Zero-Upload” Promise)

No Image Uploads: Your images are never uploaded to our servers. All compression, cropping, and conversion happen locally in your web browser using client-side technology.

No Image Storage: We do not, and cannot, see or store your photos. The pixels stay on your machine.

Instant Clearance: Once you close the application tab, the temporary memory used for processing is cleared.

2. Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use Squeeze.

Images: We do not collect, transmit, or store any image data, filenames, or image metadata.

Tool Settings: Your compression preferences and tool settings remain in your browser for the current session only. We do not save them to our servers.

Website Analytics: We use Plerdy, a third-party analytics service, to understand how visitors interact with our website (for example, pages viewed and general usage patterns). This helps us improve the site. Plerdy may collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, and interaction data. We do not use analytics to track or identify the images you process. For more details, see the Plerdy Privacy Policy.

Support Inquiries: If you contact us by email, we receive only the information you choose to include in your message (such as your email address and the content of your inquiry).

3. Third-Party Services

We cooperate with the following providers to operate our website:

WordPress: The platform powering our website interface.

Plerdy: Website analytics to help us understand and improve site usage.

Server Infrastructure: Secure cloud hosting that delivers the website and application code to your browser. No user images or personal account data are stored on our servers.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for:

Essential Site Functionality: WordPress may set cookies required for basic site operation and security.

Analytics: Plerdy may set cookies to measure website traffic and usage patterns.

We do not use cookies to keep you logged in, process payments, or track license status, as account login and subscriptions are not currently offered.

5. Data Security

For Images: Security is entirely local. Since image data never leaves your device, it is protected by your own system’s security and browser environment.

For Website Data: We use industry-standard encryption (SSL/TLS) to protect data sent between your browser and our servers.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or another jurisdiction that grants similar rights, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or request deletion of personal data we hold about you (for example, information from a support email).
  • Object to or restrict certain processing of your personal data.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Because we do not operate user accounts or store your images, most requests will relate only to data you have voluntarily provided to us (such as support correspondence) or analytics data processed by our third-party providers. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the Effective Date at the top of this page. Continued use of Squeeze after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
