This website, SqueezeImage.app, and all associated services are owned and operated by Squeeze (hereinafter referred to as “Squeeze”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Description of Service
SqueezeImage.app provides a web-based platform for image optimization and processing.
- Client-Side Technology: All core image processing (compression, conversion, resizing) is performed locally within your web browser. Your images are never uploaded to our servers.
- Server-Side Synchronization: To provide a consistent experience, we store your user-defined settings (e.g., preferred compression ratios, output formats) and usage statistics on our secure servers.
- Freemium Model: We provide a Free Version of the tool so users can verify compatibility with their hardware and browser before purchasing a Pro subscription.
2. User Accounts & Security
To save your preferences and access Pro features, you must create an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Any actions performed under your account are your responsibility.
- If you suspect unauthorized access, notify us immediately at support@squeezeimage.app.
3. Content & Ownership
- Your Images: You retain 100% ownership of your images. Since images stay on your device, SqueezeImage.app never accesses, copies, or stores your visual content.
- Legal Use: You agree not to use the service to process content that violates any laws or infringes on the intellectual property of others.
4. Service Availability & “As Is” Clause
- The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
- We are not responsible for technical failures of your browser, operating system, or hardware (e.g., insufficient RAM) that may affect the local processing of images.
- Since we do not store your images, we cannot recover any files for you. Always keep backups of your original data.
5. Payments and Refunds (via Freemius)
- Merchant of Record: Payments and licensing are handled by Freemius, Inc. By subscribing, you agree to their terms of service.
- No Trial Period: We do not offer a trial period for Pro plans. Users must use the Free Version to ensure compatibility before upgrading.
- Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day technical guarantee. Refunds are granted only if the Premium features fail to function correctly on your device and our support team is unable to provide a fix. Refunds are not issued for “change of mind” or hardware-related performance issues (e.g., browser crashes on very large files).
6. Prohibited Actions
You agree not to:
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the client-side processing scripts.
- Use the service to distribute malware or perform “denial of service” attacks on our infrastructure.
- Abuse the service by attempting to bypass processing limits.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Squeeze and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of data or hardware failure) resulting from the use of our browser-based tools.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ukraine, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be settled in the competent courts of Ukraine.
